The work of Stanislav Chermensky continues the traditions of Russian constructivism, inscribed in the history of world culture such names of the patriarchs of Russian avant-garde as Kazimir Malevich, El Lissitzky, Alexander Rodchenko, Konstantin Melnikov and Vladimir Tatlin. Stanislav Chermensky followed the laws of the chosen genre, however he did not created the remakes on structural motifs, but completely independent and original works.
Chermensky's mounted works are created from simple and neat materials: fabric, metal, wood and transparent planes. Free from utilitarianism and everyday function the artist's compositions leave the impression of beauty structure: amazing purity of spatial solutions, scale and grandeur of the large structures and filigree finish of the details. Rhythmic ratios and proportions, the internal tension of bent and intersecting lines, open local colours and texture of the material, result in the extraordinary tension and strength of artistic image.
To some extent easel compositions of Chermensky can be called formal aesthetic experiments, bearing a visual landmark, which are further develop the search and the ideas of the Russian avant-garde.
