 Alexander Lozovoy was born in Sukhumi, Abkhazia in 1949.
The pupil of the known artist Varvara Bubnova (Varvara Bubnova 1886 – 1983, a member of "The Union of Youth”, “Knave of Diamonds” (Bubnovy Valet), “Donkey Tail”, INHUK, studied together with Filonov, exhibited together with Malevich, Mayakovsky, Tatlin, Rodchenko, etc.).
His father - artist Nikolay Grigorevich Lozovoy (Lozovoy N.G., 1901-1992, a member of "The Society of the Analytical Art” headed by P.Filonov) - had great influence with his creative activity.
Alexander Lozovoy's works are in Moscow Museum of Modern Arts, in private collections in Russia and abroad. He performed the art works and panels for interiors of “Alpha – Bank”, “Bank di Roma”, the Russian House of Culture and Science in Berlin, etc. Since 1997 Lozovoy cooperates with the well known English architect Tom Wilson.
Nowadays lives and works in Moscow.
