Sveltana Petrukhova & Daniel Hernandez
«Art begins when straight forward authentication of image and reality stops» Svetlana Petrukhova from Russia. Daniel Hernandez from Colombia.
Two different worlds – masculine and feminine. Different continents and cultures. But the everlasting questions are the same. How to move from existence to being? How to live in harmony with yourself and the world?
And even if the artist doesn’t manage to change the world, he searches for his own answers, and by this stays in the cultural memory.
Svetlana photographs the geometric rhythms of line, rays and verticals of the visible world and invites you to get distracted from the automated everyday existence. She suggests thinking about building the balance and harmony.
Daniel searches in geometrical forms new uninhibited spaces and transports the viewer from the regular perception perspective. He strives to reveal the function of harmony in the rhythm of alternations and tensions of forceful lines.
Similar leitmotifs are the reason for the combined exhibition of these two young artists. And together they show their respect to constructivism, kinetic and op arts.
Exhibition is working from 3rd December 2010 Cafe des Artistes Moscow, Kamergerskiy pereulok 5/6 Tel: +7 495 692 4042; +7 495 509 8336
